I havn't posted here in quite a while, but I thought I'd drop a line as we start preparing to move back to the mainland. Things have just not gone well for us here. It seems as though I'm being punished for moving here or somthing. It's been an almost endless parade of catastrophies for the last 2 1/2 years. So now we are making preparations to move back to Washington. I have a job offer that would be silly of me to turn down(considering the curcumstances), which will mean having insurance again, and continuing the retirement benefits that I have already payed many years into. I've met so many great people since I've been here, and I wish I had a chance to get to know all of you better. I'm hoping that I will have a chance to stop by and see some of you guys before we leave.
Thins brings me to my next issue (which I will place a more specific post on in the classified section). We have some pets that we need to find loving homes for. Three dogs and a cat to be specific. It truly breaks my heart to part with these members of our family, but we cant afford the shipping cost to get them back, and we dont have a place to keep them. If anyone out there is willing to addopt one of our furry friends(or knows of anyone), please contact me. I will give more details on the classified post. I just want to say thanks to all of you who have shared your aloha with me.

It's very sad that you have to leave.I can only imagine how hard is to leave a dog behind .A friend of mine in HPP recently lost her dog.If you have a golden retriever (she wants the same breed),I'll ask her.Good luck to you and your family.

] i cant imagine giving up my pets... i could "foster" your kitty until you get settled and help you get her back.. if you cant find her a good home.... please please dont take older animals to the non-humane society. i had a friend who worked there and she said they were quickly put down, sometimes that very day....
