Scrub Tree Removal (#999) - eigoya - 07-30-2020

Along with periodic albezia and a 1/4 acre (Girth) rubber tree, I Have dozens of “acacia mangiums” identified on another gardening page. Some have grown very tall (and over a neighbors fence) And are heavy. From googling, it appears theY are a pea/legume type tree (like albezia?), but tried Millstone on smaller one and only a branch died. Wondering 1) if It Will dry up (like albezia) when poisoned and 2) with what product, more millstone or.??? No luck with tree cutters...any info appreciated

RE: Scrub Tree Removal (#999) - terracore - 07-31-2020

(terracore's insert: Warning, using GrazeOn has been associated with the manure of the animals that consume pastures sprayed with it causing herbicide damage to bi/polycot plants grown with compost containing the manure, rendering the soil unusable for bi/polycot gardening / farming for years. The same can be said for Milestone however the damage to the soil with compost containing Milestone ingested manure is not generally considered to be "semi permanent" but rather a shorter period of time. From what I've read monocots like corn more immune to these types of herbicides will eventually uptake and "cleanse" the soil but I don't know how many years it takes. If you use these products, do NOT take your green waste to the transfer station unless you throw it into the landfill dumpster (not the green waste dumpster) and if you have animals that graze the area, do not use their manure in your compost.)
