Pahoa village sewer/water? - Ccat - 10-02-2020

Uh, ??, just wondering...

any services, for water and sewer provided in Pahoa village (town)?  Does that mean that all the houses and commercial buildings there (even new construction) have a septic tank and water catchment?

Thanks

Apparently, some areas have water. I just saw this article:

Water tends to run along the highway and into a certain few subdivisions. Look for the fire hydrants.

Sewer service exists in Hilo, but along random streets, not a cohesive "part of town".

Puna Kai has its own wastewater treatment plant.
