County moving to ban trailers from transfer station - Seeb-2 - 12-05-2020 I have a little lawnmower trailer that I haul garbage on. The attendant at dump says they are going to band trailers next year even if they’re less than the 3 yard pick up truck limit. Think this truly s**ks. Is there anyway to head this off. Not everyone can afford to have a pickup truck to haul trash RE: County moving to ban trailers from transfer station - Obie - 12-06-2020 There is a new mayor taking over in 2 days. A lot may change at the transfer stations. There were 2 county employees guarding the scrap metal bin at Pahoa today. Seems like a waste of manpower. RE: County moving to ban trailers from transfer station - Ccat - 12-06-2020 That doesn’t seem right. Some of us drive *cars* and Occasionally need to haul off stuff that won’t fit in the (small) trunk. You have to use a little trailer. Hopefully, the county will rethink this.
