I don't know much about sea currents. Does any of this radioactive water wind up on our shores?

Yes, currents flow from Fukushima to Hawaii:
An estimated five million tons of debris washed into the Pacific Ocean on March 11, 2011. 70 percent (3.5 million tons) of this waste sunk almost immediately amongst Japan's seabed deposits. The remaining 30 percent (1.5 million tons) has been drifting along the Pacific on ocean and wind currents.
We were told it wasn’t radioactive, and this link describes the debris as more of a problem for surfers if they have to dodge floating obstacles than short or long term health impacts:
