Pohoiki & a Milkshake! - descodave - 10-20-2021
We are celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary next week & would like to get a really good milkshake in Pahoa area as well as take a drive to Pohoiki (haven’t been there since Covid started); anyway, any advice on where to get the shake?; also, what are the hours open at Pohoiki & has it changed any in the last year & a half?

Pohoikis open until 6PM I think. Hot ponds change daily. Go for the deepest one. Close your eyes and pretend itʻs Alahanui. Heaven! And I havenʻt lost any body parts yet. Used to be able to get great shakes at Uncle Robertʻs but not sure if theyʻre open these days. And thereʻs Nicocoʻs in Pahoa for great ice cream but not sure if they do shakes. Congratulations on your anniversary!
