Apparently there are many mainlanders interpreting this as a blizzard forecast for sea level locations!

Every report I've seen in the last couple of days implies its happening in hawaii in general. You have to read almost the whole article to get clarification that it'll only br happening on the summits.
Sensationalism sells, They're meant for lower 48 consumption.
