Anywhere to get a COVID test this week? - malahini - 01-03-2022
I can't find any openings period this week. I called my primary care provider and they hung up before even saying hello.
LOL.
I got a very sore throat, slight nasal drip, and occasionally a non dry cough. Also brain fog was actually second thing I noticed in addition to the sore throat.
No fever yet... but it might be brewing.
Probably Omicrons.
I would personally use the testing site on the County website which is at Afook and not the one that is in the Walmart parking lot. Apparently Rob won't let me tell you why because that would be giving medical advice or something...
I will say that the one at Afook is Saliva PCR and the one at Walmart is nasal rapid antigen.
Since apparently it's too controversial to tell people to use a site that's listed on the county website I will add the following disclaimer:

They hung up? Jeez.
Walmart parking lot tent. Highway 11 side. There was a very long line just about an hour ago. Must have been 100 people or more.
Flu has also returned this year, or so I've heard. At least at a national level. Haven't heard about how it has impacted Hawaii so far.

Blah... What a bummer. Feeling too tired for that. Maybe tomorrow...
This doesn't feel like the flu though, just a really sore ass throat and slight nasal drip with very occasional productive cough.
I haven't had a sore throat that felt like this before, but then again if this was 2019 I wouldn't have thought twice about it.
No fever yet still.
Already the sore throat might be feeling a little better too.
Oh yeah some muscle fatigue too...
Well on second thought yeah I feel like a drive.

I just wanted to get tested so I could know 100% sure it's the beautiful omicron.
I FEEL GREAT!!!
So far the symptoms are thus:
1) Mood enhancing brainfog, kinda like you just took a hit off the bong
2) Sore throat
3) Slight nasal drip
4) A cough so productive it can hardly be called that, more like just clearing the mucus out of my throat every hour or so.
5) Slight muscle soreness, barely any fatigue.
I got the test done, I will know within 72 hours.
Everyone in line had a cold...

So, not only do you feel qualified to diagnose everyone in the line, but you also say you feel great but have brain fog, cough, a severe sore throat, and muscle soreness, and then don't bother mentioning that having been vaccinated might well have prevented you from feeling much worse or even hospitalized. Your post seems to support getting vaccinated if nothing else.
