That's easy to answer.
Because they're a joke when it comes to these new variants. Basically it doesn't even make sense to get more than one shot unless you've got other issues like oldness or fatness or COPD or something.
Also why is everyone getting omicron despite mask mandates here? That's another great question imo.

The post was just to offer, without comment, an article in a Hawaii publication. I didn't intend it as a forum for the trolling of our kupuna or vertically challenged ohana who need, and should be, protected.

People are getting Covid regardless of vaccination status because the virus is adapting and mutating like all viruses do.
The elderly and those with serious health conditions should almost certainly count on contracting this virus at some point. It is my belief that everyone will get Covid at some point.

I believe you're right. I think more people have Omicron than they even realize. Especially when some of the testing sites aren't using the best tests for Omicron in my opinion. Waiting back on test results to test this on myself from two different sites.

We do not have variant specific testing available to the general public.
Just relax. Let the virus do it's thing.

True. I'm saying that studies found Saliva PCR was the most accurate at detecting Omicron in another country is all.
In the same study or a similar one nasal swabs were better for Delta.
Either way even the FDA says rapid are not very accurate for Omicron.

Months ago the urgent care and clinical labs in Pahoa had both rapid and safe travels approved tests.
