I Heart Ashley! - Sam Son - 03-18-2022

.    Sure, I knew Puna Councilwoman Ashley K. was a cutie, but I never dreamed she had the brains to match.  Hosting yesterday's Economic and Built Environment Resilience Capacity Area monthly meeting, in just the introductions alone she managed to get in all of these important words:
Cultural, elevate, sharing, adopt, empowered, embolden, engage, effectuate, opportunity, together, change, manao, resilience, commitment, initiative, restore, integration, cohort, placemaking, activation, impact, interpretive, kokua, challenge, spotlight, conversation, and progress.
Now that's my kind of broad!

Did she forget the most important word of all: "mulling"?

RE: I Heart Ashley! - kalakoa - 03-18-2022

There are many definitions of "resilience", including the fake kind used to placate voters.

… brains to match

I’d settle for council members, reps, and senators who function as if they have brains, even if they don’t match anything.

Dude, you said broad?  Are you still in black and white somehow? Everyone else moved to color awhile ago

Hoʻoponopono, take a look back at the comments made when she first ran for office if you want to see some black and white.

For more color feel free to replace "broad" with any of these words:  hussy, wench, strumpet, or trollop.

Or better yet, try discussing her accomplishments and shortcomings without the gender stereotypes. Just stop. Please.

While infinitely more likable then O’Hara, I’ve been disappointed that she didn’t follow through with claims of fiscal responsibility.
