Boxabl as a complete house - garymatt - 08-24-2022

Haven't had my password for a while everything I see is pretty much new.
Last time I found some names/companies when I needed a new catchment tank.
My wife and daughter are vaguely excited about the onesy as a house I saw on the internet.
What I found is that they SEEM about to ship. I found them when looking for stock purposes.
Some of the units can be outfitted with solar panels and it looked like about a dozen in Hawaii have put in preorders.
Anyway, I thought of PUNAWEB. Looked here but found no BOXABL in a search. So I'm wondering if this is new or old news to people here.

Neat little efficiency, though you can certainly build your own for less. I guess for folks that don't have the time to build their own it could be super convenient. Key to me would be whether or not it is easily expandable with a lanai, second bedroom, etc.

Affordable housing initiatives should be buying versions of these equipped for completely off-grid use, and offering reasonable mortgages to folks. With a low mortgage payment and minimal bills, people might actually be able to get ahead.
