Condo - Howard - 03-01-2006

Hi
At Bob & Pam's Punaweb party, a condo complex was mentioned favorably...up on a hill, pool etc. Does anyone have any info re identity, locale, etc?

Hi Howard, There is a list of condos in the back of the Ready Mapbook of East Hawaii. Maybe one of the names will jog you memory.

Good Luck!

Hey Howard, This is Richard I was the one speaking to you right before we had to rush off. The condo was Bayshore Towers. Entering Hilo it's on the left before bridge. Nice people, secure, pool, nice views, the maintenance seemed good. Wish we had Bought. We looked at several and this was our favorite. Good luck

Thank you, Richard.

We looked at Bayshore Towers. The location is great, but what was available there when we looked was so small that we weren't interested in it. If something larger ever comes on the market there, we would be happy to reconsider.

We're still not sure about being here permanently on a year-round basis, but we definitely want to come back repeatedly, and we're considering all our options - buying a condo or house here and using it for vacation rentals when we are not here, or buying a condo and living here part-time in the same place every year, or continuing to rent for the period when we want to be here, which could entail finding a different place every year. It's very hard to leave Philadelphia altogether, but we know that we can't stay there in the winter any longer and we know that Hawaii is our preferred alternative. We'll see what happens.
