I'd wager we are looking, at the low end, of 50K a truck times 10 trucks = $500,000.00
Didn't they just allow the Hawaii County subsidized fleet to include pickups as well?
Well, I guess on the positive side, it lasted a month!
On the downside, someone(s) getting that big promotion!

Technically, my tax dollars also live in Fargo, ND but I could care less what happens there as well.
I would have thought someone who claims to have lived here for multiple decades would be used to the sheer ineptitude of government officials.
At a certain point, you need to recognize that boondoggles like this pickup truck debacle are par for the hawaiian course.

I thought Puna Web was a place to discuss Hawaii topics, be it local Puna, Hawaii County or Hawaii State.
And yes, not claiming, but after living here for over 3 decades I have come to learn every facet of the sheer ineptitude of our government officials.
That should not, however, prevent one from discussing them.
In the future, may I suggest if you find any posters thread to be irrelevant to you, just move on to the next one you find relevant.
Or should each poster of a new thread clear its relevancy with you prior to posting?
