Punatang has a good idea and solution to the pesky “I don’t like that thread at the top of the list” problem, so I thought I’d take it one step further and give it a title.
Want to see something that is (so far) not unpleasant at the top of the Punaweb thread list?
Click this thread title. write “bump”, or a haiku, or whatever you’re thinking to yourself while waiting for that long red light at the top of Shower Drive and Highway 130. Share it with the world!

There used to be this lady, Betty Boop, at shows, would come around and holding out what looked like a Visine bottle would ask, 'want a bump?' That was back in the day, when Owsley, you know Bear, would share with everyone.. OMG, I miss Jerry.

That’s one meaning of the use of the word “bump.”
The intent of the OP was to have people make a post that would send this thread to the top of the list, or “bump” it.
The references to “Owsley,” “Bear,” “Jerry” and “Betty Boop” and a Visine bottle asking if you “want a bump” is in reference to the Greatful Dead and the taking of LSD.
Which, in that context, explains just about everything that one would need to know to understand quite a bit.
