Looking for a septic engineer - Fireman - 05-07-2025 Hello all, Thanks for all the info I have gotten here for years, and this is my first post. My question is can anyone tell me if Atlas Engineering (AKA Paul Nash) in Hilo is still in busness? I have tried sending emails and calling multiple days with no answer. His voice mail just says the box is full and no message can be left. I'm trying to get septic engineering plans and have gotten some unreal quotes,up to 6,500 dollars for just the engineering. Last I heard,Paul Nash was around 700, but that was on an older post. Does anyone have any other reasonably priced recommendations if I can't reach Paul? Thanks in advance for any response. RE: Looking for a septic engineer - Chas - 05-07-2025 Nick Moore, an excellent excavating contractor, who does septic installations should be able to point you in the right direction. 808 967 7279 RE: Looking for a septic engineer - tikicarver - 05-23-2025 (05-07-2025, 03:14 PM)Fireman Wrote: I would be interested to hear what you find out and current prices. Paul's wife Zelda passed away not long ago, so maybe he can't keep up or closed up shop. Her name is Lennie Okano-Kendrick. She charges waaaay less than other quoted prices. The highest I was quoted was 6,800...completly crazy. RE: Looking for a septic engineer - punikahakaiferret - 06-02-2025 I was going to post about Lennie, and just saw this. By the way, she is female. :-D RE: Looking for a septic engineer - Fireman - 06-09-2025 (06-02-2025, 07:20 PM)punikahakaiferret Wrote: I was going to post about Lennie, and just saw this. (We gals gotta look out for each other!) :-) Hope Lennie works out for you; she is a peach. RE: Looking for a septic engineer - caleeallen - 06-13-2025 We used Lennie too, and she was very quick and responsive, and I agree she was not expensive at all. |
