OK, so no one has said anything, so, asking for a friend, but last night when I tried to log in it said, "Website Down For Software Upgrades."
Is this the upgrade?
Do I need to get my 2400 baud rate dial up modem dusted off?

The webmaster has been working on the formatting problem. Hopefully it’s not more than that.

I'm enjoying it - sort of HTML 1.0 vibes, before Tables and Divs were added to the spec. All the info and tools are still here just with a 1995 flavor, like the old rainbow horizontal rules...

Tho I suspect its not as easy as hard coding as it is finding where in the script those docs are being called from.. it probably all has to do with where the script points to theme1
What started it, was there a version upgrade? Or did this fall out of the sky?

I agree on the retro feel, making me all sentimental. The Internet was so magical back in the 90's, when people actually had their own websites, smaller companies had their own IT people and servers, and billionaire's clouds didn't just suck IT spending out of every small company and town. So many fun memories working for all kine small companies.
Did Hilo have "webmasters" and "IT guys" back in the day?

Agree - the promise of the early web was awesome - the open web cyberspace printing press, leveling the playing field at last. Heady times, not made to last. Most of my web work was done back on the mainland, but some local webmasters from the 1990s are still floating around...

There was some sort of maintenance last night after 10p - had a notice screen up and returned afterwards looking like this. Agree, trying to figure out where those stylesheets get loaded from will be fun, like tracing spaghetti.

The "Click Me!" button existed, but I clicked and nothing happened, not even a Rick Roll. The dancing baby would be sad.
