Sheep or goats - sistersue - 08-07-2026
I would like to adopt 2 female farm animals to live in my fenced yard. All my large dogs I've had in my life and loved so much are all in Dog Heaven now. I love dogs but sheep and goats eat the grass and don't bark. Does anyone know where I could get them and not charge me so much money? I would love to have Nubian goats. We have a ram but he's in his own yard. I only want girls. Thank you.

Sheep are grazers, they eat grass from the ground. Goats are browsers and prefer to reach around and up for food. They will graze grass if they’re starving. Contrary to cartoons they will not eat tin cans or garbage.
