cost-container ? - Naomi W - 12-20-2005 I know somewhere someone put in a message that they are living in a container, but of coarse know I can't seem to find it. So does anyone know how much a container is to buy? Thank you guys for all the great information. Naomi RE: cost-container ? - mella l - 12-20-2005 Aloha Naomi, You might just check out the introduce yourself thread on the punaweb forum. Someone there is living in a container currently and I think it is Emily a real nice person who doesn't post often. It is great you will be visiting for 2 - 4 weeks next year to check the east side out. We did it in 2 weeks but were pretty rushed, however found property we loved in Eden Roc. Best of luck. I just realized that this "Building" forum was here. I had only been looking at the other forum. I have looked into the costs of containers here, and it seems that for a 40 footer, you will pay anywhere from $3,500-$5,500 for used. In Illinois we paid $1,650 delivered! We might be getting another container to use for storage since we will be building soon and don't want our materials to walk away. |
