Gutters - Rose C - 10-21-2006

We also need to replace the gutters on a two story building or, if that is not possible, we need to find someone who will repair the existing gutters. Does anyone have any leads? We can't find anyone who is willing to work on replacing second story gutters. Again, your help is very much appreciated.

Did you try Roberta Banks @ Aloha Gutters?

Thanks for your reply. I don't know who my son-in-law called but I will tell him about your recommendation. Someone on the Konaweb also told me about having used Rainbow Gutters for several jobs and we will give them a call also. I sure am thankful for the valuable information I received from Punaweb and Konaweb members.

We had Akamai Gutters out to repair a leak in our 2nd story gutter. I called, after the first rain, to let them know it was still leaking. They took the information but never came back. I fixed it myself.

RE: Gutters - Nalu - 10-24-2006

I normally use B@D Raingutters, they do EXCELLENT work, but they were booked up for several weeks so I tried a new company Akamai Gutters. HUGE mistake. Every downspout leaked, they used wrong pvc piping for concrete, AND did not glue any of the joints in the piping so they all leak. Called them out to fix, and they came out, but they all still leaked. Basically they are incompetent. In the end I called B@D Raingutters ,and paid them to do the job right. I should of just waited for them in the first place. Lesson learned. Angela

RE: Gutters - sittall - 10-25-2006

I called Aloha Gutters 3 times before they finally sent someone out to look at my two story house for an estimate. The man was very pleasant but did not take any measurements until I asked him if he was going to. He did finally take the measurements but I never did get an estimate.

PS I did not deal directly with Roberta Banks, maybe that was the problem?
