Yurts 'n' catchment - ArtM - 11-14-2006 I have a friend... (yes, really, I'm not asking for myself) ... who is interested in buying some land in Puna, then erecting and living in a yurt. However, she says that catchment is a problem with a yurt, in that it's difficult to collect rainwater since there are no eaves and no obvious place to hang gutters. Anyone have any experience with yurts 'n' catchment? Mahalo! Art M. RE: Yurts 'n' catchment - jdirgo - 11-14-2006 We had clients with yurts in Kalapana Sea View Estates and they were able to attach gutters and live on catchment without problems. I saw one installed in Hawaiian Acres and it worked great! Will Peratino RE: Yurts 'n' catchment - ArtM - 11-16-2006 Excellent info from John and Will. I will pass it along to my friend. I'm sure she'll be thrilled. Art |
