Backhoe rental? - jm minica - 11-15-2006
I've been trying to find a backhoe with a hammer attachment to rent, but the only place I've found that has one on this side of the island only deals with commercial accounts. Anyone know of someone that would rent what I'm looking for? I find it kind of strange that a hammer wouldn't be standard equipment on backhoes around here since there's not much dirt to dig, but ALOT of rock to bust up.

Aloha Mark, try Hursley Alani 808-987-1939 (Hursleya@aol.com). I think the name of his company is Exclusive Hauling. He has everything from a D9 bulldozer to trucks, so will probably have a hammer attachment for his backhoe. And better yet, he owns ag land off Maku'u where he most likely stores his equipment. I hired him to clear two lots in HSR and found him to be very experienced, ethical, and reliable.

Hursley Alani doesn't have a hammer for his backhoe. You might try Mark 895-5076. He is responsive and does clean work.
