hi, I need to get a bid (just one for the moment) for my options to repair the rusted out overhang on a roof or a new roof.
Who would you use? My eyes are glazing over trying to select from the yellow pages.
in case you wonder, the reasons I might go with a new roof instead of repair are a) the rest of the roof doesn't have a lot of life left and I don't want to do a roof job after I move into the house; b) it would be an opportunity to change the roof line and put a cover over the existing uncovered patio so that it can be an enjoyable lanai.
I would want someone who is reliable, competent, is willing to do repairs if I choose that option, who can stick to a schedule reasonable well, and reasonably priced of course!
I have used Yama's in the past, and although there were a lot of good things in dealing with them, I ended up having trouble resolving issues that should have been covered by warranty ... like that they scratched the roof putting it on and then spot painted it with a color that dried lighter than the roof color so it had light spots all over it ... and I tried for months to get it resolved with no satifaction ...
and thus I'm looking for someone new!
