Tonight - Hilo Bay Water Quality event - Les C - 10-11-2007
Sorry for the late notice. There will be a free event tonight at Mokupapapa Discovery Center at 6:00p (to 7:30p) on the Hilo Bayfront. The event flyer is entitled: "Water Quality in Hilo Bay. Sampling the waters in our bay." Speakers are Dr. Tracy Wiegner, PhD in Oceanography, UH-Hilo, and Cynthia Phillips, BWET Coordinator. (Sorry the flyer doesn't say what "BWET" is). Also, the Connections Public Charter School Water Quality test activities will be presented, as well as the HDOH findings on the materials dredged from Wailoa River. There will be time for Q&A and discussion after the presentations.
