An 8.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. A tsunami may have been generated. Residents are ordered to leave tsunami inundation zones.
Estimated time of arrival of a tsunami to Hawaii is 12 noon today, Jan 27, 2009.
