Can anyone recommend a company (With insurance) to cut a few down? They are large and close enough to the house that if they fall they could hit us. I’d rather get them down before Mother Nature does.

Considering the bulk
of the cost is removal, drop and leave will save you a bunch, by the time you get the sucker out of there you'll know why the expense.
The big tow behind grinders cost like hell to maintain. Plus labor expense.
Too bad it aint a koa, someone would pay you to take it! Gotta make a use for those suckers or you're going to make tree removal guys rich.(mabe a silver lining, at least someone's making a good wage!)

We've had some large albizia removed and chipped, and it is not pocket change (Hawaii Tree Works). Still, what is the cost of a big limb on the rooftop?
We immediately piled the small limbs with leaves under our bananas and citrus before the leaves wilted and dropped. The small limbs dry, break, and decompose readily. Also, we are composting and deep mulching with the chips. The poles about 10" to 20" diameter, were cut in 10' to 15' lengths and we have used them to surround pineapple beds, and those poles will be soil in about 2 years.
Here in HPP, if soil is to be, then it must be made.[
