Carey you are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for all you offer us here, sincerely! I would love to go to this class. My dad had two supers for many years, and so loved taking care of and looking over his bees, not to mention the wonderful honey.

Thanks, Carey! We need more bees. The website doesn't come up with specific information but perhaps someone will post the details after they've sent email?

Catz, this was in todays TribHerald "Where: near Puna Geothermal off Hanilo St., look for signs
When: 10-noon Sat. 6/30
Details: A great into to basic beekeeping from a long time successful bee keeper, Ron loves his bees, spoils them with extensive lilikoi trellises and has spread his hives over areas of Puna. $5 donation. Sponsored by Know Your Farmer Alliance."
The listing has a phone #, it is on page C7, 3rd column, 2nd heading. (This part of the paper is not on the papers website, so I do not feel OK with putting someones phone # on the Web without permission...and Punaweb is open to the WORLD)

Thanks Carey,

I couldn't go since we were on the mainland during the workshop.
