banned plant/seed list - hooligal - 07-08-2008
Anyone know where the banned plant/seed list is online? The folks at Pahoa Hardware had it on their computer, so I think it's out there someplace.
I've got an email into HI Dept of Ag Plant Quarantine too. I'll post if I hear back from them.

Just a note:
The new EIS requirement for NEHLA may impact the ag sector.... so be aware that many importers of organisms are trying to figure out how this will all sort out...

I had a great email conversation with HI Dept of Ag plant division. Here are a few of the important links they gave me to read when considering seed importation (or live plants for that matter):

Dept of Ag was very quick and thorough with their responses. Also very patient when I got confused by the statutes! If in doubt, email & ask them.
