Anyone know of website for vacation rentals? - Holly S - 05-27-2006
I am frantically trying to find a place with a/c for June, or a good part of it in the Hilo, Puna area that is affordable. I know of VRBO and Rentalo.com. If anyone happens to know of any other ones, please let me know. Thanks again for all the local help. One day I will finally get unpacked for good, I hope! ;+)

Most of the places we considered were on VRBO. Another website is http://www.bigislandvacationrentals.com/. There is at least some overlap with VRBO, but there might be something additional there too.

Aloha Holly! My husband and I will be staying at Orchidland Vacation Rentals June 20-26...they have other accommodations as well...check with Lee Graves there...he is an avid Punawebber. Just go http://www.orchidlandvacationrentals.com
He tells me that calendar is not correct - it is an older calendar, but if you go to the website you can get a look at the properties and also pricing...etc. Good Luck!

Aloha Holly, Perhaps Skip and Camille Thomsen might be able to help you out. I know of at least one that is reasonable and very nice at 1095.00 month..
We actually weren't able to do bussiness with them but Camille was so nice and tried others for us, everything was just booked at that time.
