last night on the news they said that our island may not even see any rain and if we did, it would be tomorrow. it's sunny right now in fern forest and we're headed up to volcano for the farmers' market.

It sure is bad in Kona. I had to close all windows and doors because the wind was blowing the rain in! It's raining heavily and my cat is hiding under the bed!

Bright and sunny, not much wind in North Hilo. However we are going to a gallery opening in Honokaa later and my friend said to bring a sweater!??! It is cold and rainy up there right now.

Dang it - I will have to keep updated on the storm. We are flying in to Hilo tomorrow afternoon. We are midway through our travels now, hanging out in Seattle for the day and night. I hope I don't hit any flight snags due to weather!

The storm has basically passed. It was more of an event for Kona.
