You have to ask yourself, What is important to me? If a realtor's brochure, gets your juices flowing, you probably want one kind of dwelling/view/ambiance/solitude/community/ etc. If you have kids, you have to ask yourself what kind of education do I want for my children. And more. If you need specialized medical care, think more than twice about moving here. There is ONE good public charter school in Kona. Innovations. That's it. Research your location!!! If buying a home in Kona, checkout property damage caused by the last earthquake.
