Puna Sustainability Expo - Rene Siracusa - 03-01-2009
Mark your calendars for the return of the Puna Sustainability Expo, Saturday, May 9th (day before Mother's Day) at the old maile packing shed on Pahoa Village Rd., across from Pahoa Feed & Fertilizer. The Expo will focus on affordable, D-I-Y sustainability topics such as: food/agriculture, water (potable, household, agricultural), alternative energy, solid waste and recycling, transportation, traditional knowledge and skills, herbal medicine, shelter, right livelihood/green jobs and businesses. The Pahoa Springtime Jamm will be on the same day at the other end of town, so come to Pahoa and take in both events.
