Burglary in Kapoho Vacationland - hooligal - 04-21-2009 OOky! Someone opened our heavy garage door & stole stuff Sunday night while we were 15 feet away IN THE HOUSE! That's pretty damn brazen and creepy. So far they got the almost new craftsman chain saw & two fishing poles (11' and 14'). Lock up your stuff and be vigilant. * I'd rather fail at happiness than succeed at misery * RE: Burglary in Kapoho Vacationland - Malapuaao - 04-22-2009 On Monday this week we also had a truck and van with 3 local boyz come through three (3!) closed gates marked No Trespassing and brazenly start looking around before I caught them. I think the license plate on the old Astro Van was like NYT 916. aloha RE: Burglary in Kapoho Vacationland - Greg - 04-22-2009 I hope you file/filed a police report. Even if nothing is done about them this time, these lolos probably aren't going to change their behavior. When the same vehicle is reported again and again by a neighborhood watch the police will eventually have justification to be more proactive. punatoons RE: Burglary in Kapoho Vacationland - PaulW - 04-22-2009 Reminder: always, always try to get the licence plate number. RE: Burglary in Kapoho Vacationland - hooligal - 04-23-2009 I'm in house lots. I heard 3 people were robbed in Beachlots too (sometime between Monday & yesterday). * I'd rather fail at happiness than succeed at misery * RE: Burglary in Kapoho Vacationland - Kelena - 04-23-2009 Robbed = taking of something from a person through force or fear. Don't confuse with burglary. You were burglarized (I'm sorry to say). You were not, thankfully, robbed. |
