Have any of you had a home built by this builder? If so, what do you think about his work? He has came highly recommended to us by our house designer.

Architects and builders usually work together and recommend each other. Do your own research, look at homes he built before and talk to those owners. Have an attorney look at his building contract. Check out the licensing and complaint history at http://www.hawaii.gov/dcca/quicklinks/online/business_online before you commit yourself. Having a house built is not like buying bread at the supermarket. (Trust me, I know. I have had eight homes built in five years here. If you want more info feel free to e-mail me.)

He built an HPM model for a friend on 7th and I liked the workmanship. I was going to use him, but decided to buy.

Michael has always had a good reputation and seems easy to work with.
