New restaurants I'd like to see on the Big Island - macuu222 - 08-11-2009
I think an Olive Garden Restaurant would be a great addition and an improvement over alot of the new Burger Kings, KFC's, and Subways being built here. I'd like to see a new restaurant chain here thats a step up from the fast food restaurants..but still priced within most peoples budgets for eating out.
Will it ever happen? Maybe in Kona...if the economy ever starts coming back.

Why are you guys dreaming of bland restaurant chains? Just wondering as I tend to avoid them as I generally find local eateries are much better and tend to use fresher local ingredients instead of the processed food the chains have shipped to every restaurant to assure consistent blandness.

I would really like it if the Green Papaya Salad lady at the Hilo Farmer's Market would clone herself and station these clones at three mile intervals throughout Puna. Come on evil human cloning scientists! Clone faster! Clone, clone, clone!

I agree with Glen on that one. She is at the Pahoa Farmer's market on Sundays and we visit her every Sunday!

I'd like to see Big Jake come back to Pahoa with his peppered steaks, prime ribs and barbequed pork.
His side were great too.
He was last seen catering on Kona side.
If you see Big Jake tell him he is missed.
