Police blocking off Kehena Beach Estates - robguz - 12-16-2009
Anyone know what this is about? Apparently they had 137 closed from 4 am to at least 9:30 am. Among the info I gathered was that shots were fired, there was an ongoing investigation and cops said it was a big deal that would be in the papers tomorrow. I don't know how long it stayed closed.

Heard several sirens this A:M starting at about 5:30, went to Pahoa about 9, passed 4 cruisers going toward Kalapana. Must be pretty serious.

Just called police at 3pm, still closed, no projected opening time but they are "wrapping up." police refusing to say anything about it otherwise.

Me: "did they catch him?"
Kids: "I think it's still going on, we saw another cop going down there from the school bus this afternoon".
