Paloma is Ecotemp? - StillHope - 12-18-2009

I am confused. On the house inspection there's a note about the water heater and it says "Paloma".
On the unit itself it shows "Ecotemp".
I was looking for any "paloma" logo on side -nothing.
So is it the same or like Volvo/Ford?

Doubtful. They --how shall I say it?-- screwed you.

I think the inspector is just using the word "Paloma" generically to describe your "Tankless on demand propane water heater". Kind of like Xerox or Kleenex, Band-aid, etc.

Thank you,Leilaniguy.
That's what I thought.
Glen,I have no one but myself to blame.
The Paloma was promised, but no brand specified.
The GC came with 5-star reference and the circumstances of the pressure to get a construction loan or not get it didn't give me time to get a proper construction contract.

An oral agreement is still a contract --just harder to prove. And even harder to prove if a written agreement says "there are no other agreements" (a so-called merger clause). Not advice. Just rumination. Consult a Hawaii attorney if you think you need advice.

In the larger scheme of things, I know what it is like when your dream comes true.....and then there are little adjustments that need to be made. Do remember that you are walking in a dream, working within it, and try to stay positive, knowing that life is full of challenges wherever you may be.
