Or not. If you have noticed Tommy ching (kahikina) is now on KHBC in the morning.
Fortunatly Mynah Bird is on AM, but for us puna people that is no good. The signal is poor and we can't hear him. If you are a fan of the Mynah Bird show, please write KHBC and let them know we want him back on FM if he is willing. There is a reason people like KHBC, it's that old school (classic) feeling that they have. When they went FM their popularity soared, now they are starting to sound like any other FM station.

HA HA HA - old school !! Mynah Bird is really really old school but Tommy Ching is pretty old school, too. Remember when he was on KAOI as the Polynesian Pirate 7-midnight (maybe +15 years ago)? Then he went to Kona. For a long time, a lot of his family lived in Puna. Dont know if they still do.....

Yeah Tommy "Pirate" Ching. He knows tons about a wide range of music, and broadcasts his own eclectic playlist; Hawaiian, punk, country, contemporary, whateva.......
Mel Madeiros has a unique niche with his "trading post" show, but can stick to the AM as far as I'm concerned.
