Puna Sustainability expo this saturday ... - emorata - 11-13-2009 Puna people are adept at creating ways to live lighter on the land, reducing dependence on imported products and services and developing skills and techniques to ensure sustainability. The Puna Sustainability Expo, Saturday, November 14th in Leilani Estates Community Center, will display many skills and products at work in Puna today. Learn about: gardening and tropical agriculture, water, recycling, shelter, green building systems, green jobs, solar and geothermal energy, transportation, traditional knowledge, herbal medicine. WHAT: Puna Sustainability Expo WHEN: Saturday, November 14th 9 am to 5 pm WHERE: Leilani Estates Community Center,on Moku Street Attendance is free. All are welcome. Plenty parking.
