We have a pile of scrap copper left over from a renovation.
Does anyone know where in Hilo/Puna I can bring it to hopefully get some money for it?

Atlas Recycling has several Hilo sites, one is on Kileaua near the old Hilo Mall. Only one person can accept the scrap metal so call first and ask when the scrap metal buyer will be there.

Atlas has their main set-up on Makaala, near Kawili. I remember that Oahu had some restrictions on copper, due to the Highway thefts, so it is probably a good thing to call Atlas first: 935-9328

I'll call Atlas and see what they say. I'll post the outcome, as I'm sure I won't be the only person wondering about this.

Reynolds Recycling 935-0837 across from Hilo shopping center.
There is a certified notary public person there most days.
Before we took a truck load of scrap metal, including old electrical wiring to the transfer station, we stopped there first, they bought
most of it.
