Packing Peanuts - Samdooby - 12-11-2009 Is there any place that takes these things? I dont think we have a Mail Boxes Etc here and I really dont want to throw them in the rubbish but that is probably where they are going to go... Does anyone know where to dispose/recycle these little buggahs?? RE: Packing Peanuts - mdd7000 - 12-11-2009 Do you have the bad ones or the "green" ones made from corn starch? To test, run water over one. If it dissolves, you got the good ones and can make them safely disappear down the drain. RE: Packing Peanuts - Samdooby - 12-11-2009 Bad ones... I have 3 boxes full of em!! Big boxes too! Its all good though cuz I am going to take em too Post Net and see if they will take them... Never knew about the "green ones"... RE: Packing Peanuts - lquade - 12-11-2009 put them on freecycle, people ask for them all the time RE: Packing Peanuts - Carey - 12-11-2009 The Mail place in Prince Kuhio Mall (between the food court entrance and Macy's Womens west entrance- across the parking lot from Blockbuster) takes the peanuts RE: Packing Peanuts - Del Pranke - 12-12-2009 If you mix them with gasoline they make a passable napalm. RE: Packing Peanuts - Devany - 12-13-2009 Sam, I can take them! I use them for drainage in the bottom of large pots. They are light weight and allow good drainage. I do not use them to ship my ceramics, they shift too much in packaging. Aloha au i Hawai`i, devany www.myhawaiianhome.blogspot.com www.eastbaypotters.blogspot.com |
