Sky Builders Available For Work - Nalu - 01-22-2010

Well, I've always liked to keep my business life separate from my private life, and have enjoyed having this forum as my leisure guilty pleasure habit..Smile But it's now time to mix the two I suppose. Our company Sky Builders is a licensed,BC25859, insured home construction company here on the East Side. Like the rest of the world, we've been hit with some hard times. We are looking for any kind of construction work. No job is too small. From hanging a door, remodeling, framing, or building your house turnkey, we are available. Our website is: hiloskybuilders.tripod.com
our email is: skybuilders01 at yahoo.com
I'm thankful to have this forum to express this. Mahalo, Angela Slatinsky

Whatever it is worth, [Big Grin] I add my recommendation, Dustin built one of my homes and he did a very professional job.

I can testify that the builder John recommended to me has nothing to do with this company.[Smile]

Hi, Angela. Over the past year or so a number of people have spoken positively about your company. Do you have an experience working with Castleblock type materials? Our goal is to have a home (in HPP) made without wood.

As for budgeting, we understand that a home with quality finishes will run about $130/sf plus about $20-$30k for septic tanks, well drilling, electric hook up and site leveling. Are we in the ballpark?

To clear up any misunderstandings, I personally have used four different builders to build my houses during the past 10 years. One was a total disaster, one started out good but got greedy and the relationship soured. I only had good experiences with both Dustin (Sky Builders) and the other builder I recommended to StillHope.

John thank you for the compliment.Smile
Hpp4me, I'm so sorry, quite honestly we have never built a steel frame structure before so I wouldn't know where to begin to align you with a budget. I think Rob would be a good source for that one.
I can tell you that stick built homes tend to be in the range of 100-125 foot depending on finish details. HPM kit homes with their standard features are in the lower end of that range. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Angela

John,I am not going further because it's not the place.
But the facts I offered to you are still available.

RE: Sky Builders Available For Work - John S. Rabi - 01-23-2010

I have no clue what "facts" you are talking about. [?][?][?] (Whatever it is, I assume it's between you and I, and it doesn't belong on Punaweb.)
You sent me a few complaining private e-mails about the builder, but those are not facts, those are accusations. I was not involved with your project at all and I told you if you have a problem with the builder you have to work it out with him. If you can't than there are other options you can pursue. Punaweb is not a proper place to make accusations against somebody who is not even a member here.

Angela,
We will be building a custom home in HPP. Can you give me a range of cost for "shell framing" only, and another estimate that includes the plumbing and electrical? The house is two level, 2 1/2 baths, 2 car carport, with slab foundation.
Thank you,
Barbara Taylor
