Looking for Black Cinder - Dinamight - 02-03-2010 We went to Puna Rock today to look for black cinder and they have black but it's mixed with red. We have black cinder in the garden so I don't want to mix it with reds and browns if possible. We have a small pickup and can collect a half ton at a time. Does anyone know where we can get some, or who we can call to have it delivered? Thank you. RE: Looking for Black Cinder - LEROY - 02-06-2010 call sandfords 965-8144.puna rock gets their stuff from them. RE: Looking for Black Cinder - Rob Tucker - 02-06-2010 Pure black cinder is not always available. It depends on the cinder quarry conditions. Just check with the cinder companies. It may be a red/black mox is all you can get for now. RE: Looking for Black Cinder - Dinamight - 02-07-2010 Thank you for the replies. I'll call the company mentioned. I did get 2 bags of black cinder from Walmart for $4 each, but there isn't much in the bags to go around so I'd like to find an alternative. RE: Looking for Black Cinder - localblondie - 03-09-2010 Edwin De Luz 776-1652 trucking has pure black cinder at a good price. They also do mixes like 1/3 soil, 1/3 mac nut, and 1/3 black cinder RE: Looking for Black Cinder - StillHope - 03-09-2010 What is the price and min.delivery? Sure it's easy to make a call. But I thought it will be good for his business to advertise here if his price is really good. RE: Looking for Black Cinder - hpp4me - 03-26-2010 What mixture do you use for new plantings? We are getting close to going over to get some trees in the ground. Once we get the holes dug, what do we put in them? |
