Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - 808blogger - 03-24-2010 "NOT an average of 5 posts per day) needs to GAL in my not so humble opinion! What information WORTH sharing would take more than 5 posts in a day I ask you?" nothing of value. :O evidence: https://hawaiifreestorage.com/webfm_send/204 https://hawaiifreestorage.com/webfm_send/205 https://hawaiifreestorage.com/webfm_send/206 https://hawaiifreestorage.com/webfm_send/207 https://hawaiifreestorage.com/webfm_send/208 LOL RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - 808blogger - 03-24-2010 and its only 2:45 PM RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - mella l - 03-24-2010 Number 8 "I have already self confessed" you must have missed it so sorry. RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - Rob Tucker - 03-24-2010 808, Is there some point you are trying to make? Please make it. I am not checking out your links. RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - 808blogger - 03-24-2010 The humor was gotten by who it was meant to be gotten by ![]() RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - Greg - 03-24-2010 The five post average limit was brought about by the abuse of one person and one person only. This individual just posted to be the first one to reach number plateaus. Content was not even considered. It was basically spam. I can paraphrase some typical posts: "Gee, I'm almost the first one to get 2000 posts"; Followed by "Golly, I've got over 2000 posts", etc. If you ask him now, he'll say he was banned for disagreeing with Rob. In reality, he was bannished for refusing to cut back on his incessent spamming. Since being banned, he's gone on to do some good work with other sites that aparently satisfy his need for frequent posting. I see it as "win win". I don't think the limit is really relevent anymore. No one now comes close to a five a day average as far as I know. By the way eight, I don't go to your links either. You would get a better response with some sort of discription. Just a thought. RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - David M - 03-24-2010 But John, look how many YEARS it took to get there. I'm soooooo far behind. I know, maybe if I just post "something" in every thread.... David Ninole Resident RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - mdd7000 - 03-24-2010 Interesting that the PW Operating Committee thread has already been locked and it certainly wasn't controversial. At least we now know who 2 of them are. That helps in knowing the how/why of things that are moderated. I have no issues with Greg, nor do I think anyone else does either. He seems more than fair in his posts and opinions. Nice choice in him. RE: Anyone posting more than 5 posts per day... - Greg - 03-25-2010 md, The thread was locked down because its author (hope) requested it(PW policy). I think the author of a thread also has the ability to delete a thread, though I don't know why she just didn't do that instead. Mahalo for the kind words. I told my wife and she thinks I wrote it. |
