Subdividing Process - TheYogi - 03-25-2010
We own some ag5 land we're interested in splitting in two so we can sell the front acreage to a friend. What is the process for subdividing and is it overly difficult and expensive?

How many acres is the original parcel?

If the zoning is there than it's a fairly simple and easy process, but good luck if you need rezoning

It depends on how close you are to paved roads and county water.If paved roads and county water are a reasonable distance away,you can be required to provide a water line and a 20 foot wide paved road.
