I was wondering if there were any towers put up recently in Puna that would provide cell phone access about a mile down Opihikao Rd from RT 130.

As of my last visit May 2009, ell phone signal is very weak in that area.

What cell Co's service the Puna area? We were considering a move from AT&T to Verizon.

Not if you want service in Kapoho. Verizon does not work in Vacationland. AT&T does.
