RE: BIAN Sale - macuu222 - 07-30-2010

Just a reminder. The sale starts today at 5pm

RE: BIAN Sale - SandyS - 07-30-2010

Thanks for the reminder. We stopped in this evening. There were lots of plants for sale but not the varieties of Mangos that we had hoped to find. All we saw was one type and it was grown to do especially well in higher elevations.

RE: BIAN Sale - Andy - 07-31-2010

Check Paradise Plants for Mango...last time I was there they had a good selection.

RE: BIAN Sale - macuu222 - 07-31-2010

Just came back from the plant sale. Got a few small things to try in the garden. Can't believe the prices though on some things like sealing wax palms and bamboo planters $150.00-$200.00 ea.!

RE: BIAN Sale - Alex - 08-01-2010

We were there on Friday about 6-6:30.No mangoes, avocados and not much choice on fruit trees.Wrong timing?

RE: BIAN Sale - JerryCarr - 08-01-2010

My experience at this event has been that there are always hard to find ornamental plants, but the prices are not that great. As far as the fruit trees go, the Plant It Hawaii semi-annual sale offers tremendous selection at generally lower prices. YMMV.

Thanks.Right on about the price.
