I've been following the Tiny House movement with interest. I think these are pretty much at the limit...

Yeah, and to me one of his designs seems kind of like a coffin you can sit up in.

I have seen a couple of designs around the 100 sq ft mark that seemed surprisingly livable. One was built by a woman who wanted to teach herself carpentry, and once she finished the project she decided to move in. In Hawaiian terms it's more of an ohana, since she uses the bathroom in the the property owner's house.

Do they still have the "Businessman's Hotel" rooms in Tokyo? I don't think they have room to do more than sit up in those.
