I hope the topic of rat lungworm infections will be covered. Considering the speaker is from the mainland, I assume they don't know about it. It would be great to get a local microbiologist to speak for a few minutes about the facts we know about infection by the rat lungworm. There is no proven way to avoid infection if eating raw local foods so it is best to be well informed. Enjoy the workshop!
