Lamont Ranch Lambs - pslamont - 01-01-2011 Lambs are ready to wean. Mom's are already starting to dry up. For those of you who purchased lambs, you can come get them anytime in the next 60 days. If you are looking to purchase a lamb ready for slaughter, they will not be ready until August/September. You realize that prices will rise a little if I have to care for them for the next 8 or 9 months. It will still be a deal. I have found that Kulani Foods will butcher, dress and package them for $109/lamb regardless of size. We will include in the price transporting them for slaughter and dressing, and you will be able to pick it up yourself to save a delivery charge. It's easy, comes in a nice box and is totally frozen when you pick it up. Wow wow wow. Still happy to sell on the hoof now if you are looking for lawnmowers, etc. Note, all unspoken for males have been castrated and females have had their tails docked. We have one little guy with horns that have NOT been cut. Frankly, I don't know how to do it and I don't want to hurt the little guy. He has been castrated so will remain relatively harmless if anyone wants a pet/lawnmower. Our beautiful BUSTER will remain a pet. He is already walking on a leash, comes when called even if he is out back in the pastures grazing with the herd. Get one young if you want to train it as a pet. Also saved out two large boys for breeding. Once they have bred successfully here, we will lend or rent them out for breeding if there is a need. Thanks everyone for keeping interest in our crazy projects. :0 Pam RE: Lamont Ranch Lambs - nanasohana - 01-02-2011 Awwwwww.....Buster! |
