Puna cliffs - TomK - 02-08-2011

Thought about posting this in the "You know you're in Puna" thread but didn't want to detract from the funny stuff. And apologies for what some might see as self-promotion, it isn't meant that way, just that this is one of my favorite photos and thought one or two of you would like the picture (it's a flickr link).

Puna Cliffs

It was taken at the end of Paradise in HPP at sunrise, Superbowl Sunday. Don't think I've ever seen the place look more beautiful. I haven't got round to masking the cigarette butts left on the cliffs though!

Beautiful..... With the way the lights in the home glow and the brightness of the mist, reminds me of one of the "Kincaid" prints.

Looks like a painting. So moving I had to show my wife; she had the same reaction. Thanks for "reminding" us of the beauty that surrounds us.

Eye candy. Delicious!

Brilliant.

Those should be in a gallery. With all due respect, that first pic could school Kincaid.

Beautiful.
